Shabti of Amenet-em-heb

Currently not on display

Mummiform shabti wearing a plain tripartite wig with a seshed headband tied at the back added in black, although this is very faint. The arms are crossed on the chest, and the hands hold a pair of hoes added in black. A large rectangular basket is painted on the back with crude diamond–hatched patterning. Facial details are poorly defined, with the eyes and brows being added in black. The shabti is flat–backed. A vertical column of inscription names the owner as Amenet–em–heb. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Worn, surface loss, chipped, label sellotaped to surface.
