Shabti of Djed–bastet

Mummiform shabti wearing a plain tripartite wig with a seshed headband tied at the back. The hands meet above the waist, and a pair of hoes that they hold are added in black. A basket is painted on the back, but the details are hidden beneath an old museum label (Norwich Castle Museum, 1925). The face of the shabti is very poorly modelled. The body of the figure is broad, and has a vertical column of inscription that reads, "The Osiris, Djed–Bastet.". Printed label on the base "HOR-SI-AST".
