Information
Mummiform shabti of the 20th Dynasty, wearing a tripartite wig with striations added in purplish–black. The arms are crossed left over right on the chest, and the hands hold a pair of hoes. A large diamond–hatched basket is painted on the back of the shabti. The face is poorly defined. The eyes are added as painted dots, and the mouth is also painted.
A vertical column of inscription on the front of the figure reads, "The illuminated one, the Osiris, Montu–em–heb". Transliteration of the inscription: sHD Wsir MnT(.w)-m-Hb.
In the 1879 register 1.8.79.12 is listed as "sepulchral figure in blue porcelian" and 1.8.79.14 is listed as "porcelain stud for inlaying".
