Shabti of Nes-khonsu

Information

Moulded faience mummiform-shaped shabti wearing a plain tripartite wig with a seshed headband tied at the back added in black. The arms are crossed right over left on the chest, and the hands hold a pair of hoes added in black. A square basket with square–hatched details and shoulder straps is painted on the back. The face is simply worked. The eyes are added as black dots. A vertical column of painted inscription reads, “The Osiris, Nes–Khonsu”.
