Shabti of Serdjehuty

Mummiform shabti wearing a plain tripartite wig with a seshed headband tied at the back. The arms are crossed on the chest, and the hands hold a pair of hoes added in black. A small diamond–hatched trapezoidal basket with shoulder straps is painted on the back. The face has eyes with brows added in black paint. A now faded vertical column of hieroglyphs on the front of the shabti reads, “The Osiris, Serdjehuty, justified”. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Pitted, worn, discoloured, surface dirt.
