Shabti of Tent-iset

Mummiform shabti figure with a vertical column of hieroglyphs naming the owner as Tent–Iset (also known as Tentast). The figure wears a tripartite wig with a seshed headband tied at the back added in black. The arms are crossed left over right on the chest, and the hands hold a pair of hoes faintly modelled in relief and painted black. A simply outlined rectangular basket with shoulder straps is carried on the back. The face is very simply modelled with eyes with brows added in black. The front of the shabti has a vertical column of inscription in black hieroglyphs that reads, “The Osiris, Tent-Iset, justified”.
