Sheath (Forgery)

Sheath with wooden tang inside, very thin carved with decoration in low relief. The catalogue card states 'figures in a curious style', forgery? Record card states 'Egypt Exploration Society' but is this correct? CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, wood is very dry and fill is friable, bone is discoloured, broken, held together with sellotape, surface dirt.
