Fragment of stamped design pottery broken from a vessel. Highly-skilled potters from the late Meroitic Period produced beautiful ceramics so thin and delicate that archaeologists call it ‘eggshell ware’. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped surface , worn, surface dirt, discolouration.
