Shipping documents of barque Albion.

Various papers, letters, receipts, etc relating to the seafaring business of the barque Albion, 1830s - 1840s. The collection has not been fully listed, but the vessel appears to have been mainly active in the timber trade from Quebec and New Brunswick, Canada. Some documents refer to voyages from New Orleans and Mobile, USA with cargoes of cotton which would have been produced by enslaved labour in the plantation economy.
