Shrine Frieze of Cobras (Uraei)

Fragment of a frieze of twelve striking cobras wearing sun discs (uraei) on a base. From the end shrine placed over a coffin. Rough technique. Rectangular label with blue border with the number 1390. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, wood very dry, cracking, surface dirt, surface loss, label adhered to surface.
