Sickle Blade

Rectangular sickle balde. Back is unworked, one thin end, very light brown colour. Marked in pencil: "54.04" "protodynastic" and a 3 digit number, perhaps "199". Marked in ink "Abydos early type". From one of W. M. Flinders Petrie's excavation seasons at Abydos between 1899 and 1904 for the Egypt Exploration Fund.
