Sickle Offering

Tanged copper sickle. Two vertical rows of corded decoration on the sides of the haft and one row down the back, three grooves outlining the outside edge of the blade. Turfa (2017) observes that sickles of this type are common Italic votives of the Bronze Age and continued into the Early Iron Age. Copper is a good choice for votives, but bronze would have been preferable for actual tools.
