Simoselaps bertholdi Jan, 1859

Small snake with small head, flattened, rounded snout and short tail. Head is grey-brown or black with whitish snout mottled with black,brown or grey, body cream, yellowish or reddish-orange with 18-31 black rings oe equal size surrounding the body and tail. Length up to 33 cm.
