Flat-backed faience amulet in the shape of the baboon-headed god Hapi, who was one of the Four Sons of Horus. Represented in profile, looking left, with baboon head and wig, with both hands in front, grasping a loop of fabric. Plaque is pierced at the top and bottom. Faience amulets such as this were stitched to the mummy bandages or sewn onto an elaborate bead net which was placed over the mummy.
