Fine flint spear head of leaf shape, flanged at the base for tying on. Marked in pencil 25/-. Marked in ink 3657; rectangular white sticker with red print 3657. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Surface dirt. Catalogue of the MacGregor Collection of Egyptian Antiquities (Sotheby’s 26 June – 3 July 1922), p. 148, lot 1121, "...a Knife with slightly toothed edge, 4 7/8 in. long, found on the same site [Es Saoniyeh], both of the archaic period." Es Saoniyeh might actually mean Semaineh.
