Spider's Web Tile

Circular blue glazed tile with what appears to be a design inspired by a spider's web. There are quite a few hieroglyphs based on insects but none for the spider, and as far as we can tell there is also no evidence of spiders in Egyptian art. This tile may be the closest evidence of spiders that has survived in Egyptian art. Chipped in places and part of the edge is missing.
