Spinophrynoides osgoodi (Loveridge, 1932)

Grey-green or brownish-yellow to deep brown above, all but vary pale individuals and adult males have a distinct Y or X-shaped mark on the head and shoulders, a continuous dark band on the sides and occasionally a dark chevron at the posterior of the back. Dirty white or yellowish underneath occasionally marked with grey, brown or purple spots and blotches. Length of males to 52 mm, females to 62 mm.
