Staff

Staff carved in black wood the shaft tapering in tiers to a point. Handle or butt section composed of two square-sided bead forms with narrower section between and a square-sided pommel rounded at the end. Crossed lines like an 'X' incised on sides of squared bead forms and pigmented with red. Red pigment also in incised line between butt section and shaft and between butt and pommel.
