Statue Fragment

Part of a left foot wearing a sandal. Deep purple quartzite but described as sandstone in the excavation report. Marked in ink by the excavator: TA. 31.32. P43.1 481. From the Central City: the magazines of the Priests' Quarters (P43.1) that lie to the south of the Small Temple. Excavated along with a sandstone skirt from a statue that is also in World Museum (accession number 1973.1.473). Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 153974.
