Wooden head from a statue. Late Period or after. Found during Professor Emery's 1966/7 excavation season at Saqqara for the Egypt Exploration Society. Number H5-507 1196. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Wood very dry, old infestation, splitting, yellow mottled appearance, surface dirt, concretions, loose fragment.
