Statue Fragment

Fragment of indurated limestone from a near to lifesize statue. Fragment of a king’s nemes, the stripes have been finely carved as alternately raised and sunk. From the Egypt Exploration Society excavations at Tell el-Amarna, 1931-1932, found within the Small Aten Temple.
