Statue Fragment

Fragment of a statue: left hand grasping an object with a cartouche of Ramesses III at the end. Part of jewllery preserved at the wrist. Rectangular label with ornate blue border adhered to the surface marked with a previous collector's number 1398 [the 3 crossed out and replaced by 1] CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, worn, chipped, surface dirt. Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 9-10 December 1907 (Robert de Rustafjaell sale).
