Stela of Yunna

Round-topped stela of the 18th Dynasty depicting a scribe called Yunna seated with his wife, 'the lady of the house', Ty. Before them a standing male makes an offering. Below are two lines of an offering text. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession number 76349: PLAQUE. Stone, with inscription. 14½" x 11½". Egyptian. Purchased at Steven's Auction House 22 January 1929 Lot 39. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Surface loss, chipped, worn, discolouration, pitted, surface dirt, abraided.
