A Stranded Boat

This watercolour is thought to have been made later on in Foster's career. According to the British publisher Vicars Brothers (Old Bond Street) in a letter dated 28th March 1935: "This drawing came from the artist's sale & bears the monogram B.F. in an oval. The "B.F." on the opposite side of the drawing is evidently a forgery. This sketch was probably found in the artist's studio and sold when his things were dispersed after his death."
