Information

Hills was predominantly a painter of landscapes and animals. He entered the Royal Academy Schools in 1788 and exhibited at the Academy between 1791 and 1824. The British Museum and the Royal Academy both hold further examples of his work. Hills was also a founder member of the Old Watercolour Society and sometimes collaborated with George Fennel Robson (1788 - 1833).
