Study for the Golden Barn

This is a preliminary drawing for Clausen's painting 'The Golden Barn', in the Walker Art Gallery collection. 'The Golden Barn' was painted in 1901 and was probably the greatest of the series of barn interiors painted by Clausen between about 1897 and 1921.
