Sugar box

A lidded sugar box made from lilac jasper with applied white jasper decoration, which has been inspired by classical art. The decoration would have been pressed into a mould and then applied. The lady of the house would serve tea to guests so sugar boxes, like this, were made to appeal to ladies.
