Sutton Courtney Church

This watercolour shows a church in the small village of Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire, situated on the River Thames just south of Abingdon and northwest of Didcot. This is a typical example of Eden's British landscapes, painted after he moved south from Liverpool.
