Sword and Scabbard

An iron blade sword and scabbard. The pommel is of trefoil shape and decorated with punched and chiseled scroll work. The stone or coral which should sit in the centre is missing. The wooden grip is tightly bound with silver wire. The grip is fitted with a silk tassel. The scabbard has a wooden base with leather stretched over it. This is decorated with silver edges, the lower third of the scabbard covered with embossed, punched and chiseled silver. At the tip is a silver boss, while the central part of the silver work is fitted with three large (imitation) corals.
