Information

Syrup ewer, of cylindrical form, bound with four triple bands in low relief; the top protected by a shield in front. Spout issuing from a dragon's head; two handles in the form of monster heads pierced for rings, and flat cover. Enamelled on the biscuit with three broad belts of rock and wave pattern, consisting of pointed rocks and crested waves in a ground of green spirals representing water on which are floating plum blossoms and symbols. On the shield are storks and clouds in a green ground; and on the spout, cloud patterns. Base unglazed. The raised bands are coloured yellow.
