Tablet

A blue jasper tablet with white jasper applied sprigging. The tablet features nine figures (seven boys and two fauns) at a festival of the god Bacchus. The design was copied from a relief sculpture by Francois Duquesnoy, known as Il Fiammingo (1597-1643).
