Teacup

A white jasper cup, partially dipped in blue jasper with white jasper sprigged decoration.The sprigging is based on designs by Lady Elizabeth Templetown (1747-1823) . The saucer to match is LL 1543. The white stripes at the base of the cup are produced by removing the top blue layer. Wedgwood developed this technique using an engine turning lathe.
