Teacup

LL 1190

On display

A white jasper cup, dipped in lilac, with applied white sprigging. The cup features some of Lady Elizabeth Templetown's (1747-1823) designs. The white stripes are produced by removing the top lilac layer. Wedgwood developed this technique using an engine turning lathe. This cup is part of a larger set, complete with tray. See LL 1187 to LL 1192.
