Teapot

Copper teapot with brass handle, spout, collar and lid. The copper body is decorated with four quatrefoil medallions, in alternating designs of dragons and shang-shang; mythical figures which are part human, part bird. The lotus flower lid, is embossed with 'dog nose' designs (finial missing), the handle is cast in the shape of a dragon, while the spout is in the form of a makara, or mythical sea creature.
