Telescopus fallax (Fleischmann, 1831)

A slender snake with broad, flat head with blunt, tapering snout. Colour usually grey of brownish with a conspicuous black spot or collar just behind the head and a series of dark transverse bars or blotches on the back. Length up to 75 cm.
