Terracotta Figure

Hollow terracotta figure of an ape. Arms broken off near shoulders, left leg missing from above knee and right missing from mid-calf. The ape wears a collar. It has a curved tail on the back and its genitals are visible on the front. There is a hole for ventilation under the belly that was made during the fabrication to allow the figurine to dry. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Collector label stuck to the surface: 204 Eg.
