Textile/Clothing; Hat / Chinese Summer Cap

A skull cap made from woven black horse hair. The cap has a thick ribbed band, the crown created from eight triangular panels stitched together in alternating lace pattern weaves. The finial is created from horse hair plaited around rope and knotted to create an endless knot.
