Thangka of Dharmapala

Thangka, painted in gold on a black background known as nas thang, of possibly the Nyingma Dharmapala Tseu Marpo. He has the characteristic third eye, flaming hair and skull headdress of a dharmapala and he is surrounded by other protective and peaceful beings. Top centre, Amitabha, and two bodhisattvas, Top Left, Vajrasattva, Top Right, Historical Buddha, Centre Left, unidentified, Centre Right, Vajrakila, Bottom Left, Mahakali, Bottom Centre, Mewa Tsekpa (possibly), Bottom Right, Jambhala.
