Fragment of a faience tile for insertion within a wall. A lotus/lilly flower in blue, green and red. Broken at the stem. Flinders Petrie, 'Tanis Part I, 1883-4' (London, 1889), p. 27: "The bulk of the fragments from the palace of Ramessu III were sent to Liverpool, 100 pieces in all, of rosettes, pieces of figures and drapery in glazed tile and alabaster, small pieces of glass for inlaying, &c."
