Blue faience square wall tile. Edge broken. Could this be from Meroe? 

Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 191046; Acquired at Stevens's Auction House Ltd., London, 16/17 September 1930 lot 451. Round sticker on the front has trace of a name that could be "MacGregor" or "Meroe Garstang". Has a small rectangular sticker with number 1881 printed in red which suggests it was once in the MacGregor collection. Sticker on the back has the numbers 31/11.

CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, heavily chipped, pitted, surface cracks, surface dirt, remnants of labels adhered to surface.
