Fragment of a tile depicting a foreign captive, showing the kilt which is a white garment with red, blue and black detailing. Flinders Petrie, 'Tanis Part I, 1883-4' (London, 1889), p. 27: "The bulk of the fragments from the palace of Ramessu III were sent to Liverpool, 100 pieces in all, of rosettes, pieces of figures and drapery in glazed tile and alabaster, small pieces of glass for inlaying, &c."
