Ivory toggle with flat back, conex top and decorated with incised parallel lines. Broken off at the top. Petrie's Sequence Date 31 - 55. Excavation not recorded but most likely from when Amy Urlin was part of an excavation team led by her brother-in-law, Professor Flinders Petrie, at Abydos, 1900-01.Exhibited in Glasgow 1912-15 (no. 39s - '12). CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, surface chipped and scratched, surface loss, surface dirt, label adhered to surface. Compare with W. M. Flinders Petrie, 'Prehistoric Egypt' (London, 1920), pl. XXXII, XXXIII.
