Ivory toggle of flat oval section decorated with incised spiral line decorating the tip. Petrie's Sequence Date 31 - 55. Excavation not recorded but most likely from when Amy Urlin was part of an excavation team led by her brother-in-law, Professor Flinders Petrie, at Abydos, 1900-01. Exhibited in Glasgow 1912-15 (no. 39t - '12). CONDITION NOTE (1998): incomplete, surface dirt, scratched, surface loss. Compare with W. M. Flinders Petrie, 'Prehistoric Egypt' (London, 1920), pl. XXXII, XXXIII.
