Tomopterna cryptotis (Boulenger, 1907)

Pale grey to tan above, marbled with darker grey-brown, reddish or greenish pigment in an irregular pattern but usually with a broad bar between the eyes and a U or H-shaped mark in the shoulder region. Underside is white or cream with adult males having the throat heavily suffused with dark grey-brown or black pigment. Length of males up to 42 mm, females 51 mm.
