Trench art; Knife

Knife, the blade is engraved with the lettering 'The Great War 1914 - 1919' and a partial undulating landscape showing a howitzer gun and grave cross, with the sun in the distance; the reverse of the blade shows a more detailed engraved image of the sun with a face and outstretched rays. The handle has been made from a 'Splitdorf' spark plug forged to the blade.
