Information
Length up to 9 cm, males smaller than females. A small smooth-skinned newt, has three grooves on head, which may be rather short and rounded. Olive or pale brownish above often with small spots which may form two lines on the back. Belly may have small spots, often with central stripe, usually yellow or silvery orange.
