Information
This dance crest of the Tyi Wara agricultural association represents the mythical primordial animal Tyi Wara, which was said to have first taught people how to cultivate. The shape of this dance crest is generally said to resemble the profile of the roan antelope and it was probably made by an eastern Bamana sculptor from the Ségou region of Mali.
