Information
Large gecko with slightly flattened, plump body and short, swollen, carrot-shaped tail, constricted at the bas, the feet are bird-like with long, clawed digits. It is deep purplish-brown to reddish-brown above with scattered white or yellowish spots interspersed with tiny dark spots forming 2-3 curved lines across the shoulders and neck. The tail is black with 5-6 narrow, white crossbands. Length up to 15 cm.
