Silver gelatin postcard by unknown photographer, ca. 1912-1914. Image shows two West African men and a woman outside the entrance to what appears to b a shop or warehouse in a village. All are dressed in Western costume - the woman in Victorian dress and straw hat; the men in suits, ties, and boater hats. From the collection of William John Roberts, Liverpool-born merchant for The Lagos Stores, Ltd. Based in Nigeria, 1912-1914.
