Unworked Carnelian

A lump of unworked carnelian that would have been used to make objects such as beads. From an excavation of Professor Flinders Petrie - could be from the jewellery workshop he excavated at Hierakonpolis where he recovered large amounts of worked carnelian and flint tools.
